1. How much do you charge for your School Pictures? This depends on several factors such as the size of your school and how many days it will take to photograph. Rest assured that our prices are very competitive. Call today and ask for a Free Price Quote! 516-249-1517

2. What is a Plan Type? This is simply the method by which school pictures are purchased by parents. We have 3 Plan Types from which to choose; Pre-Pay, Proof, and Post-Pay. We provide all forms and pay all shipping charges.

3. What are Backgrounds and how do I select them? This is a canvas backdrop we place behind students who are being photographed. They come in many colors and styles. Selection is a very subjective decision. There's no right or wrong, it's simply a matter of taste. Backgrounds that are less ‘busy’ like Traditional Blue, Gray and Beige are the safest. Backgrounds which have a lot going on in them are more ‘risky’, but can look great depending on the subject and what they're wearing. Take a look at our Picture Day Background Selections and pick what you like, or ask us for our most popular selections.

4. How long does it take to get our pictures? We typically deliver finished pictures in 2-3 weeks.

5. Last year when pictures arrived, they were difficult to distribute. How are they delivered? Packages will arrive bundled by class. Since we shoot digitally, it's easy to keep students' packages organized by class and it's rare that a child's portraits are delivered in the wrong class bundle.

6. Last year, some parents complained their order was wrong. How do you prevent this?

Several ways:

  • We enter information from each order envelope directly into our system and link it to the image. Since we photograph digitally, there are no slates or camera cards hastily filled out by the photographer on Picture Day.
  • Our labs receive this automatically so human error is virtually eliminated from the process.
  • We perform a Complete Quality Audit before we ship your pictures.

The number one reason why schools switch School Picture Companies is because they fail to deliver orders correctly, and the school has to spend time addressing myriad complaints from parents. In the rare event of a problem, parents call us directly and Make It Right.

7. Will my school get a Commission? If your school has 100 students or more enrolled, you are most likely qualified to receive a fundraising commission. Call us for details.

8. Do you photograph Siblings and Mommy & Me portraits? We love to photograph Siblings and Mommy & Me portraits!! Simply bring them to the camera on Picture Day. No prior arrangement necessary.

9. Do we get Free Staff Pictures? Yes! Every school, no matter what size, receives a Free Class Picture for each Teacher, Teacher Aide, and School Principal or Director. Schools with 50 or more students also qualify for free teacher packages!

10. Do we get Free Class Pictures? Yes! We provide a Free 5x7 Class Picture of every class for the school.

11. Do you offer Service Items? Yes, we provide a full line of Yearbook & School Administration CD's, ID Cards, Sticky Prints, Class Pictures, etc. Most are complimentary to schools of 50 or more students. Just give us a call and tell us what you need!

12. Do you do Yearbooks? Yes! Our yearbook department provides free state of the art digital software, assistance with design and layout, and printing….all at a very cost effective price! Call for details!!

13. How can a parent order more pictures? Every Portrait Package we deliver contains an Extra Simple Reprint Form. Parents simply fill out the form and mail it to us. We ship their pictures directly back to them.

14. I have only 35 children enrolled in my school. Can I still have a Picture Day? Yes! We're happy to provide professional Picture Day services to small Schools and Day Care Centers with at least 35 students. We generally accept these bookings from January through August.

15. How much room do you require to set up your equipment? We require approximately 10' x 15' of floor space per individual photographer. It's best to have the location as central in the school as possible. A gymnasium, auditorium or empty classroom works best, but any 10' x 15' area will work.

16. Do you take credit cards? Yes, VISA, MC, and Discover credit cards are accepted.

17. What types of Cameras do you use? We have a variety of Canon Professional Digital Cameras. These are some of the finest digital cameras ever made. You'll never see us have to stop to change film!
